StripHTML v1.1
----------------
This program was written to make life on, or rather off, the Internet a
little easier. Lots of interesting texts are available from the Net. Using
these texts in a word processor is a bit of a problem because of the HTML
codes that are included in the text. OK you can remove them manually, but
that's quite a job if your text is 250Kb! (or more...)
With StripHTML v1.1 you can get rid of those obsolete codes and keep a nice
clean and readable ASCII text.
Interesting fact: This program was first used/tested to strip the HTML
codes from the O.J. Simpson Trial transcripts which were downloaded from
the home page of Mr. Jack Walraven at IslandNet.
Now you can do the same (or something else) with this program!
You can start 'StripHTML' from your workbench or CLI.
You'll see two buttons with the text 'No File' the left one is the source
path requester button and the right one is the destination path requester
button.
(Sorry for this strange layout I choose, but I wrote this program in a very
short period.)
This program has not been tested properly, if you find any bugs write a
letter to the following address :

or e-mail me at rcflipp@dds.nl (not sure of it still works!)
I wish you many happy hours with this usefull programm. Have a nice day {:=).
Since the release of version 1.0 earlier this year the following BUGS were
reported by a number of people (thank ya all!) and removed/corrected:
1.The file requester now remembers the last used path.
2.The first character behind '>' will no longer be removed.
The next version (1.3) that will be available sometime later this year will
include batch-processing.
